Viewing the Portal as a Client

The View As feature lets agency team members step into the client portal as a specific client — useful for troubleshooting, demos, or checking what a client sees.

Activating View As

  1. Open the client in /admin/clients.
  2. Click View as Client (or the eye icon).
  3. You are redirected to /dashboard inside the client portal, seeing exactly what that client sees.

A banner appears at the top of every page while View As is active so you always know you're in a client's context.

Ending the session

Click Exit View in the banner at any time. You're taken back to the admin panel.

The View As session is stored in a cookie and automatically expires after 8 hours.

What you can and can't do

While in View As mode you can browse all client-facing pages and verify that content, tasks, files, and analytics look correct. You cannot perform destructive actions on the client's behalf (e.g. submitting approval requests) — these require logging in as the actual client user.
